About me
My name is Devon Hocker-de Lima. I'm a Southern California native who is now living a bi-coastal life, traveling from, “The OC" to Washington DC.
I'm a mother of two, my son is 28 and my daughter is 27. Motherhood has always been my favorite role, but I've also enjoyed two entrepreneurial careers as both Publisher of Orange County Magazine, and as the Broker & owner of a real estate brokerage in California named Veranda Realty.
I'm a happily re-married empty nester who is an eternal optimist with a perpetually cheery disposition, which is how my husband came up with the name, "Cheery Devon'" for this blog.
I'm hoping to share some daily bits of joy from my life with you.
I have a cute little side kick named Coco. She's my codependent dog who's 13 years old. I think we're the same age in dog years.
I'm 54.
